- Agenda approved. (9:30)
- SOAR (Theresa Exum – Time Certain 9:32) – Distributed SOAR schedule. July 10th is the largest attendance day.
- GE issues – See the memo regarding GE pattern placement. Continuing CSULB students are eligible for the new catalog (2019) similar to incoming transfers who are eligible for the new catalog (2019) pattern. Our recommendation is that it can be either 2012 or 2019. We will not generally allow substitutions – only one pattern or another pattern.
- Student Orientation/Peer Mentor Training (Val Bagley – Time Certain 9:45). New freshman and also transfer students handbooks are ready and will be handed out at SOAR. The name of SAFARI was changed to "CNSM First-Year Welcome" (the agenda was shared). The students will be organized into major-based small groups. Department chair or faculty member will speak to the majors. Students are needed from physics and geological sciences to assist with the discussions from student perspectives. Workshops – peer-led, student-led, CNSM majors (faculty/chair/credential sessions), faculty panels. The items highlighted in yellow on the CNSM First-Year Welcome sheet are the ones that are All faculty are invited to attend the resource fair. We also need tables from programs. We are changed the peer mentor training. Valarie will do the tutoring training with just CNSM students (more targeted training for the CNSM courses and SAS center).
- Minutes Approved from May 7th with suggested changes.

- Space Audit - CSULB does better than other CSUs. There is also a recommendation that classes meeting in common-use rooms be put on one of our multiple grids – not an oddly-timed course.

- Discussion of salary compression to happen at retreat (both TT and Lecturers). The Dean's retreat will be discussing those items.
