- Advising questions: refer to the appropriate advisor, avoid promises that cannot be met
- President's Award for Faculty Achievement, no notice went to staff, deans, etc. Dean/Assoc. Dean to follow up with Faculty Affairs
- ASM updates
- 3-year cycle of review of Position Descriptions
- Work performed should match the position description. Staff meeting with HR on Feb 21 (date to be confirmed). Staff will be notified and should work with chairs if they think there is cause for changes.
- SEF funding
- Ensure that all 2019-20 funds are spent
- 2020-21 proposals due soon, $198K designated for CNSM and items from the university competitive proposals ($431,559 for FY 19/20). Proposals to CDC on Feb 18. General ideas on Feb 11.
- Computer Refresh proposals should be made by departments, there have been very few requests so far this year.

- HVAC shutdown over break (Christine Whitcraft) - We were given no advance notification on the HVAC shutdown of HSCI on Dec 24. The rooms with biology freezers went to over 100 degrees and the freezers all overheated. We need better communication.
