Project Resilience Team
Mission: Project Resilience at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) uplifts Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI), and low-income students. The program focuses on promoting a sense of wellness and belonging through four key initiatives:
- Peer Mentorship: Connects students with peer mentors for guidance and support, fostering a community in the Project Resilience office (FO5-217).
- Internship-Scholarships: Offers hands-on experiences and financial support to enhance professional skills and build career networks within the Career Development Center (CDC) and College of Liberal Arts (CLA 492).
- 1st Year Learning Community: Brings new students together in collaborative groups to complete General Education (GE) requirements, receive academic support, and engage in meaningful discussions.
- Faculty & Staff Workshops: Educates faculty and staff on the needs of AANHPI students, promoting inclusive teaching and support strategies.
