When students graduate and begin pursuing their careers, they have the knowledge and skills they need to make a positive impact in the world! The Green Grad Campaign encourages students to make a commitment to prioritize sustainability during commencement season and beyond.
This includes avoiding the use of polluting confetti and glitter while taking graduation photos on campus, learning how to incorporate sustainability into their careers, and pledging to introduce sustainable practices into their future workspaces. Even if you aren't pursuing a degree in sustainability, you can find ways to incorporate it into your chosen field and spread awareness in your community!

As a CSULB graduate, you have the power to be a leader, changemaker, and force for good in your community. Take the Green Graduate Pledge to demonstrate your commitment to promoting sustainability wherever your career takes you and setting an example for others.
Commit to using only sustainable alternatives during your graduation photoshoots and learn about the negative impacts of plastic and metallic confetti and glitter on animals and the environment.
