Sustainable Lunches: Reducing Plastic Waste

This workshop’s goal is to educate students on the consequences of using non-biodegradable sandwich bags. Attendees will learn about the increase of plastic waste in the environment, its role in greenhouse gas emissions and the effect it has on marine life. Additionally, Sustain U will give alternative options to sandwich bags and other, notably, and provided, beeswax wraps, and how these steps can lead to a lessened carbon footprint.
