Offshore Wind Turbine Prototype

The project is an offshore wind turbine prototype made of 3D-printed parts. With this project, I wanted to emphasize the fact that our current grid system needs to be updated because it is not currently designed to handle a large number of different energy sources like offshore wind turbines. A solution to this major problem is to build more microgrids which are smaller, more localized grids that can run independently from the main power grid. This would decrease the likelihood of disasters like power outages and wildfires.
