Making electronic or online content accessible does not need to be intimidating. CSULB offers training to help understand what accessibility is, best practices and where to find information about making websites and documents accessible to all users.

Accessibility Designer Training
In depth training on Color Contrast and/or Images. We go through the ins and outs of how to select color pallets, write an alt attribute, etc. as well as general design best practices.

Accessibility Training Offerings
- Introduction to Web Accessibility
- Description: Learn what accessibility is and your role as a CSULB employee in creating accessible web pages and documents.
- Time and Location: Cohort starts first of the month WebAIM Accessible Document Training
- Duration: approximately 1 hour per week for 5 weeks,
- Document Accessibility for CSULB Content Creators
- Description: Learn how to make accessible Word and Adobe documents.
- Time and Location: Monthly – Campus and Software Training page for details.
- Duration: 2 hours
- Accessibility Open Lab for CSULB Employees
- Description: Bring your accessibility questions and receive one on one help making your documents or web pages accessible.

- Duration: 2 Hours
- Annual Training for Web Administrators, Web Developers and Content Editors
- Description: Web Administrators, Web Developers, and Content Editors must attend a yearly training on accessibility to make sure their skills are up to date with latest accessibility testing techniques. For Web Administrators and Web Developers, manual and screen reader training will be included.
- Time and Location: Once a year
- Duration: 1 to 1.5 Hours
- Captions and transcripts for media content
- Description: Learn how to create captioning and transcripts for audio and video content.
- Time and location: On demand at the CSULB ATI website
