Student Sustainability Leadership Award

Are you a student who is dedicated to making a positive impact in your community and on the environment?

Are you a CSULB employee or community member who has observed a student’s leadership in these areas and believes they deserve recognition?

Nominate yourself or someone else for the President’s Commission on Sustainability’s prestigious Student Sustainability Leadership Award!

Current CSULB undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to receive the award. Self-nominations or nominations by a faculty, staff, fellow student, or community member on behalf of a student nominee are welcome.

Eligible students are those who have been actively involved during their time as CSULB students in any of the following:

Nominations will be received via an online form. You can submit a written statement (500 words max) or a short video statement (no more than 3 minutes) describing the nominee’s leadership activities and qualities. Both formats will be considered equally by reviewers.
