Project Category Descriptions and Examples

Projects from all majors and academic disciplines are eligible to be included in the Green Generation Showcase, however, because of the nature of the event, certain project formats are not appropriate to be displayed. These included research papers and PowerPoint presentations (unless recorded in advance and submitted as a video).

Projects submitted for consideration to be included in the showcase must adhere to one of the six project categories, as described below. If you are unsure which category is most appropriate for your project topic and format, please contact the Office of Sustainability at sustainability@csulb.edu.
