Support NUFP
Join us in supporting the next generation of student affairs professionals! Below are some ways you can support our efforts.
Nominate a Student Leader
We invite staff and faculty to please consider nominating student leaders who may be interested in pursuing a career in student affairs. To nominate a student leader complete the NUFP Fellow Nomination Form.
To be considered for admission to the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program, each applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Be an enrolled undergraduate student
- Have at least two more semesters of undergraduate education left at time of application
- Identify as a member of a traditionally underrepresented or historically disenfranchised student population, including, but not limited to Black/African American, Asian/Asian American/Pacific Islander/Desi American, Hispanic/Latinx/a/o, Indigenous (Native American, Alaskan, Hawaiian), Multiethnic, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, or as having a disability.
- Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
Become a Mentor
CSULB professionals are invited to apply to be a mentor in our program. Each selected mentor is provided with one fellow. Mentors must be full-time professionals with at least two years of experience, post-master's.
If you are interested in being a mentor please fill out the NUFP Mentor Application.
The CSULB NUFP Committee selects mentors based on the number of fellows and their interests. The goal is to create diverse pairs that can learn from one another throughout the year. Professional staff can request to mentor a specific student and fellows can also request to be mentored by a specific professional, but pairing is not guaranteed.
