October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM)
The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in partnership with the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), annually recognizes October as National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This year’s theme is “See Yourself In Cyber”.

Webinars
Learn more about Cyber Security throughout the month of October by attending a free CSU webinar. There are a range of topics to learn from including best practices to stay safe from cyber-crime, financial crimes, and phishing threats. Poster Contest
CSULB students are invited to submit a poster that explains what cybersecurity means to you and what actions to take to safeguard your devices and personal information. Examples may include enabling multi-factor authentication, using strong passwords, phishing awareness, etc.
If you are interested in this CSU-wide multimedia contest, see the CSULB student Poster Contest. CSULB submissions must be sent to ISO@csulb.edu with subject line "Poster Contest" by December 1, 2022, 5pm PST. The top three entries will receive a prize and earn CSU-wide recognition.
