Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2020
October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM)
The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in partnership with the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), annually recognizes October as National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This year’s theme is “Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart”.
This month is about highlighting ways we can all improve our security hygiene and keep cybersecure.
Weekly Email Communications
Each week in October, we will email students and employees with cybersecurity-related news and tips, and links to those communications will be added below. Share your appreciation for NCSAM with #BeCyberSmart and #CyberAware.

Week 4 – 10/27/20
Subject: Staying Cybersecure
Topic reviews the key concepts involving protecting your many connected devices and reminds us to stay vigilant about ongoing phishing attempts.
