Review & Notification

The Graduate Studies Office uses email as the official means of communication; applicants are required to maintain a current email address on file and check their email regularly. Please be sure to inform the Graduate Studies Office at ced-gradstudies@csulb.edu of any changes in your email address and/or telephone number.  You may also check the status of your admission application by visiting the Applicant Self-Service webpage (please note that the Applicant Self-Service will be available to you a few days after you complete the Cal State Apply application).

 

The Admissions Committee will review all completed applications after the deadline. The program advisor may contact you with questions about your application.

Email notification indicating admission decisions will be sent approximately four to six weeks after the deadline. 

 

Candidates who are invited for admission will follow the Enrollment Services Steps for New Students to finalize their admission with the university.

Candidates will also be invited for admission will be invited to a mandatory orientation meeting. During orientation, a Master’s program planner will be developed for each student and each student will be advised as to the appropriate sequence of classes. It is important that students attend carefully to the advised sequence of classes as course offerings are limited in the Master’s program. Many required courses are offered only one semester each year.
