Welcome to the ISPACE at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB)!
At ISPACE, we are dedicated to fostering innovation and creativity across all disciplines. Our mission is to provide the CSULB community with cutting-edge technology and resources that inspire and enhance learning, research, and collaboration. We focus heavily on technology exposure in the hopes of inspiring you to explore technology more deeply and discover how it can be used in your teaching and learning.
Who We Are: ISPACE serves the entire CSULB campus community, including students, faculty, and staff. We are an interdisciplinary facility equipped with advanced machines and technology to support various innovative projects. Our highly skilled technical support staff is eager to help you explore these technologies; however, it’s important to remember that they are not teaching assistants
What We Offer: Our facility includes a 3D Print Lab, a 360° Theater, an XR Lab, and two Podcast Studios. These resources are available to all members of the CSULB community, providing opportunities for hands-on experiences and practical application of emerging technologies.
Why Technology Exposure Matters: Technology exposure in higher education is crucial for preparing students for academic success. Technology integration in higher education can lead to improved learning outcomes, increased student engagement, and better preparation for the workforce.
