Welcome to the 2024-2025 academic year! Reservations are required for school field trips to the Science Learning Center. Please see school visits for more information.

- Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm
- Friday 9:00am-2:00pm
The center is closed on Monday, Wednesday, weekends, and campus holidays.
We welcome CSULB faculty, staff and students to come visit to see what we are about! Large groups should contact us in advance to make an appointment.
Hands-On Science Learning
The Science Learning Center (SLC) provides unique learning experiences for elementary and middle school aged students in local communities, as well as the students of CSULB, through exhibits and activities that encourage questioning and hands-on investigation.
Through both on-site and outreach programs, the Center seeks to support STEM awareness and interest, to inform and support local science education and provide an avenue to showcase research in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics to new audiences.
