Developing Effective and Engaging Practice in STEM
Advancing STEM Education via University-Community Collaborations
This project aimed to strengthen STEM learning and teaching by leveraging the expertise and resources of universities, after-school programs, and informal science education institutions. Three exploratory collaboration models were implemented in an effort to understand the benefits of the three approaches, both for learners at these community sites and also for future teachers using these sites to further develop their science teaching expertise.
This project was supported by the W.M. Keck Foundation.
