Cal State Long Beach is back for its 2024-2025 academic year and more than 3,000 new and continuing students – with parents and helpers in tow - moved into the residential halls they’ll call “home” for the upcoming year.

The move-in period at The Beach’s three residential villages – Hillside, Parkside and Beachside – is an important “bookend” for students – graduation being the other, said Corry Colonna, executive director of Housing & Residential Life.

“We are so excited to bring students to campus and help them transition, learn and grow with us at The Beach,” he added. “And as we say, ‘Life is better when you live at The Beach.’ “
