Position: Lead Student Assistant

Major: M.S. Information Systems

Career Interest: Data Analyst/Supply Chain Analyst

As the Lead Student Assistant, Van hopes to create a safe space where the team will feel comfortable sharing ideas and perspectives openly. By working together, Van hopes we can improve how the AAO tracks performance data and refine processes that directly impact student success. At the AAO, Van is excited to contribute to a larger mission of improving student outcomes, using her experience and passion for helping students succeed. Van loves taking her dogs on long walks while listening to news podcasts. Assessment and Accreditation Office Student Assistant, Daniel Bingham.

Daniel Bingham

Class of 2028

Position: Student Assistant

Major: B.S. Computer Science

Career Interest: Software Developer/Machine Learning

As a general student assistant in the AAO, Daniel helps everyone out with their tasks while also working diligently on his, always focusing on quality rather than speed. In Daniel's free time, he enjoys learning Japanese (watching and reading things in Japanese) and traveling to new or different places using public transportation (which Daniel says he is a big fan of). Daniel chose to work at the AAO because the original position he applied for (Social Media & Infographics Designer) seemed quite interesting to him and despite not getting his intended position, Daniel still got a great position as a general student assistant in the office, helping everyone out. Daniel says he really loves the work environment at the AAO, with it being so inviting and Ryan and Daisy, as well as his fellow student assistants, always being there if he needs help with anything or has a question.
