Butterfly Peer Mentorship Program
The Butterfly Peer Mentorship Program supports undocumented students by assisting them in achieving their goals and improve the undocumented student experiences. Mentors and mentees are required to attend weekly workshops training in tops from communication skills, time management, campus resources, and self-empowerment. The program assists incoming undocumented students’ transition to CSULB and assists the development of leadership skills for returning students.
Mentee Information
Any CSULB enrolled student is invited to apply for this program. See below for more information on how to get involved.
Enrolled incoming 1st year, transfer, and graduate students. This program is tailored to the AB540, to the undocumented student experience and/or the students impacted by immigration experience therefore students who identify as part of this population are invited to apply.
Mentees will be matched with mentors who will help you set and achieve goals, make connections, and prepare for your future career.

Requirements To Be a Mentor
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be at least part-time Undergraduate, Credential, Graduate or Doctorate student
- Must be in good standing
