Dr. Caroline Lopez-Perry Named CASC Counselor Educator of the Year
Congratulations to Dr. Caroline Lopez-Perry who recently received the California Association of School Counselors (CASC) Counselor Educator of the Year award! Dr. Lopez-Perry shared what receiving this award means to her as both an educator and as a counselor, "I am honored to have been recognized by the California Association of School Counselors as the Counselor Educator of the Year. Educational equity has always been at the center of my instruction, research, and service so I am grateful for an award that highlights the body of work I hope to consistently display in my career. This award motivates me to continue developing innovative instructional practices and educating stakeholders on the critical role school counselors play in student mental health, college and career readiness and educational equity."
