Overcoming Challenges in Evaluation

In this webinar, Dr. Rebecca M. Eddy from Cobblestone Applied Research & Evaluation, Inc., and Steven Margell from Humboldt State University explored the arc of evaluation throughout the life-cycle of a grant, the importance of rigorous evaluation design, and strategies to overcome various challenges. The unique perspectives of external and internal evaluation were discussed as well as how either could be leveraged to address both federal requirements and unique campus needs. Various reporting methods were reviewed, including federal, publication, and local campus reporting. This webinar was designed for Principal Investigators and Evaluators of Department of Education Title III and Title V-funded grants at Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs).
