Research Interests: My research interest is in metamaterials and their applications in robotics and soft roboticsPersonal Interests: hiking, reading, watching scary movies and playing dungeons and dragons
Favorite Scientist: Dr. Adam Steltzner, American NASA engineer who worked on several flight projects including Galileo, Cassini, Mars Pathfinder, Mars Exploration Rovers
Fun Fact: I was part of the team that designed and developed a rover that won in NASA's Community College Aerospace Scholar Program in 2015UNIV 495

Year Two Scholar
Major: Psychology
Hails From: Chino Hills, Calif.
Research Interests: Alzheimer's Disease, aging and memory processes
Personal Interests: Dancing, singing, reading, binge-watching Netflix shows, The Bachelor
Favorite Scientist: Dr. Arturo Zavala - My mentor/PI is both an inspiration and great motivation. He has taught me that my passion for my research/what I'm interested in will be the driving force behind my success, and that's helped to shape me into the student I am.
Fun Fact: I'm a triple threat! I started singing, dancing, and acting at the age of 11
