Ph.D. Partners

CSULB BUILD has collaborative agreements with two nationally renowned research-intensive universities in the behavioral and biomedical sciences:

• The University of California, Irvine (UCI)
• University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine’s Department of Preventive Medicine

Through UCI, we also have a relationship with the Veterans Administration Long Beach Healthcare System.

 

All three neighboring research partners are located within a 25-mile radius of our campus and provide research training resources, experiences, and mentoring to help prepare CSULB BUILD student trainees for graduate school. This expands the available pool of mentors for our students and gives them opportunities beyond the borders of our campus.
