CalTPA 1.0 Submission Courses

The CalTPA 1.0 Submission Courses are non-credit courses that provide CSULB Multiple and Single Subject Credential candidates admitted to the program prior to Spring 2018 with the opportunity to submit or resubmit CalTPA 1.0 (Tasks 1-4).

• The CalTPA 1.0 Submission Courses are Task-specific.  Candidates will need to enroll in an individual Submission Course for each specific CalTPA 1.0 Task.  If you need to submit/resubmit more than one Task, you will need to register & pay for a separate Task-specific Submission Course for each Task.  
• Candidates must also maintain an active TaskStream account to ensure their timely enrollment by the College of Ed. Assessment Office in the appropriate TaskStream CalTPA 1.0 Task/s. 
• Please note that the Submission Course instructor will only be able to provide candidates with individual feedback if they have previously submitted a Task and did not pass.  It is important for candidates to register 2-3 days before the class day in order to receive individual feedback.  If you do not register 2-3 days before the class day, you are still encouraged to attend the session and receive group feedback and instruction but you will not be eligible for individual feedback.
• Candidates who choose to complete CalTPA 1.0 must student teach and pass all four Tasks no later than August 25, 2019. After August 25, 2019 all candidates will be required to complete the CalTPA 2.0 to receive their credential.
