CSULB ranked top CA university in granting Single Subject Credentials!

A report on teacher supply released to the state legislature by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) ranks CSULB as the top California university in granting Single Subject credentials, with 276 credentials conferred in 2016-2017! The same report shows CSULB recommended candidates for a total of 464 credentials, including Multiple Subject, Single Subject, and Education Specialist, in 2016-2017. This places the university in 2^nd place in the CSU system just behind Fresno State with 475 total credentials granted and third in California overall with National University granting the most credentials at 852.
