Freshmen applicants interested in BA in Music and BA in Dance must contact the department regarding an earlier deadline as well as audition information.
Transfer applicants transferring from a domestic U.S. institution must complete a Cal State Apply application by an earlier deadline to be able to complete the supplemental application. For Spring, Cal State Apply must be completed by August 31; and for Fall, Cal State Apply must be completed by November 30. Transfer applicants interested in Art BFA, Athletic Training, Dance BA/BFA, FEA Narrative Production Option, Interior Design BFA, Industrial Design BS, Music BA/BM, Nursing Basic, Nursing RN-BSN, and Social Work must also follow earlier departmental deadlines, as well as submit additional information to be considered.
Graduate applicants have different deadlines depending on major. International Admissions will always follow the earliest listed deadline. It is important to check the graduate departmental website for specific graduate deadlines.

Submitting Admission Documents:
In order to complete your application to CSULB, please provide all required documents by the requested deadline. Documents from US institutions must be submitted officially. Documents from non-US institutions may be submitted either officially or unofficially.
- Request transcripts from any US institutions you attended to be sent electronically via Parchment, Credential Solution, and National Clearinghouse or emailed directly from your US institution to ES-IDPTrans@csulb.edu.
- Applicants will be provided a direct link to the International Admissions Document Portal to submit Unofficial documents from non-US institutions.
- Official documents from non-US institutions can be mailed to International Admissions, 6300 State University Drive, Suite 180, Long Beach, California, 90815, USA. Alternatively, non-US institutions can email requested documents cie-admission@csulb.edu from their Registrar's Office.
- Freshman applicants must submit transcripts with Grade 12 - 1st semester grades (i.e., the first term of your final high school year).
- Transfer applicants must submit transcripts with all grades and courses currently in progress.
- Graduate applicants must submit transcripts with at least 6 semesters of grades. Applicants who have already graduated must submit final transcripts along with a diploma/degree certificate. Additional information regarding graduate program requirements can be found on the CSULB Graduate Studies site. Applicants from India must include their individual marksheets.
