Appointment Guide

Important! Before you can book an appointment, you will need to attend a Pre-Health 101 workshop. To sign up for Pre-Health 101, join HPAO on CSULB Events & Orgs and select one of the workshops to attend.

Booking Appointments with the Advisor

The following is the step-by-step procedure to book an appointment with the HPAO advisor.

  1. Sign in to Single Sign-On
  2. Click the "Beach Connect" tile
  3. Click on the blue "Get Assistance" button
  4. "What type of appointment would you like to schedule?" choose "Career Counseling"
  5. "What type of advising are you looking for?" choose "Advising Center"
  6. "Pick a Service for Your Appointment" choose "Graduate School Preparation or Major/Career Exploration"
  7. Click the Next button
  8. "Pick a Location for Your Appointment" choose "Health Professions Advising Office-CNSM (HPAO)"
  9. "Pick a Staff Member" choose "Mast, Thomas"
  10. Click the Next button
  11. Pick an available appointment time
  12. Click the Next button
  13. Review the appointment details
  14. Complete the survey linked under "Additional Details"
  15. Confirm appointment
  16. Look for the confirmation email
