Peer Mentor: Ebelin Mata

My name is Ebelin Mata. I am a first-generation college student from the Bay Area. My major is Liberal Studies with which I plan to continue my pursuing a multiple subject credential. I joined the Caminos Program because they’re is really nothing like it now. There are no other programs that serve as a pipeline for Latinx students that plan to go into teaching. Furthermore, it offers resources that we wouldn’t have if this program didn’t exist such as the opportunity to meet peer mentors who have lots of advice to offer.
