Trauma Recovery Center Receives LA District Attorney Commendation

The Long Beach Trauma Recovery Center (LBTRC) will receive a District Attorney Commendation from the Los Angeles County District Attorney Bureau of Victim Services at the 2016 Victims’ Rights Week Recognition Ceremony and Luncheon on April 14. Dr. Bita Ghafoori, co-coordinator of the Marriage and Family Therapy master’s program, is director for the LBTRC. The Commendation recognizes the LBTRC’s outstanding service in providing medical, counseling and supportive services for crime victims.
