Q: What is your favorite memory of student life in the College of Education?

A: I would have to say that all of my favorite College of Education memories are from my time working as a Peer Mentor. I got to work in the Teacher Preparation Advising Center, which allowed me to get to know the CED students and faculty members. Because I got to meet so many wonderful people, I will always look back at my time as a Peer Mentor with great joy.

Q: What is a favorite memory from the Liberal Studies program?

A: I think my favorite memory from the Liberal Studies program was my SOAR day. I remember feeling so overwhelmed, thinking that I would never meet anyone new or be able to find my way around campus. But it was so comforting to meet other new students who were just as scared and excited as I was to be starting in the Liberal Studies program! As I reflect on my time at CSULB, it makes that first day on the campus even more special. I had no idea what was waiting for me, but that day was the start of an amazing journey!

Q: What are your plans after graduation?

A: I’m currently applying for postgraduate programs so I can earn a master’s degree. I’ve heard that earning a master’s is quite a challenge, so I’m a little nervous! But fingers crossed that I am able to get into a program and work towards this goal!
