Engaging & Hiring Our Students

There are many ways and opportunities to engage and hire our students. Learn more about these opportunities and how you can connect and collaborate with graduate business students. To participate in any of the services, reach out to Graduate Business Career Services (GBCS).

We are here to help you develop a customized plan to establish or develop your company’s presence. We invite you to explore the various ways to connect remotely or in person with our students and maintain your organization’s brand.

  • Schedule an information session to promote opportunities
  • Host a skill-building workshop
  • Host students for a company tour
  • Take part in an industry panel or networking event to share your expertise
  • Propose a research and development project for your organization with our capstone MBA and MS course to leverage their time and talent
  • Participate in career fairs

Host an employer presentation to highlight your organization, increase brand awareness, share hiring needs, and connect with a targeted student population that fits your recruitment needs. Typical sessions last 60 minutes and include a presentation of the organization to highlight full-time and paid internship opportunities.

Targeted emails are sent to students to promote the event and will also provide a space in the Career Development Center or on Zoom. Information sessions can be held in person or virtually and typically start at 5pm or 5:30pm for Graduate Business students.

Workshops presented by your company with emphasis on skill building as seen through the lens of your organization is a great way to not only “give back” to our graduate business students, but also to continue to increase your company’s brand awareness on campus.

Your presentation can be 45 to 60 minutes in length, with Q& A at the end. Our Graduate Business Career Services (GBCS) team can work with you and advise you every step of the way in creating and building a career development seminar that is valuable to both our students and your organization from a branding perspective.

Workshops can include such things as:

  • Effective Management and Leadership Skills
  • Effective Networking
  • Salary Negotiation
  • Creating your Elevator Pitch
  • Your Professional Brand Image

These presentations can be done in person or virtually on zoom.

Embark on a journey of exploration and education by offering students an invaluable opportunity to experience your company firsthand through a captivating company tour or site visit.

By opening your doors, you provide a glimpse into the inner workings of your organization, fostering a deeper understanding of industry practices, culture, and values. Such experiences not only inspire and motivate students but also cultivate meaningful connections between academia and the professional world. Engage future talent, showcase your innovation, and leave a lasting impression by offering this enriching experience.
