The digital age comes with its challenges. As educators, our goal is not just to assess, but to uplift. Turnitin can be a powerful tool to aid our students in refining their writing skills beyond just detecting text similarity.
For this workshop, our training objectives include:
- Providing a quick glance at the new Similarity Report in Turnitin.
- Demonstrating the AI Indicator in action and discussing how to use it in your course when integrating or mitigating student usage of ChatGPT.
- Showing what 300 words of long-form, English prose really means in practice.
- Providing examples of policies and practices from an array of Higher Ed institutions.
