Course-Integrated Instruction
We have many options to best suit your and your students' needs. Successful library instruction not only provides an orientation to the University Library and our resources, but also to the intellectual and social issues surrounding information.
Research Guides (Libguides)
These online guides provide students with the vetted resources available by subscription or freely on the internet. They are arranged alphabetically.
In-Class Instruction
Subject Specialist librarians can work with you to include library instruction in your classes. We tailor our instruction to meet your needs. Classes can be held in the library or in your classroom, can be one-time or multiple sessions, and the time length is flexible based on your students' needs. We can teach your students about:
- Using OneSearch to locate items
- Developing search strategies
- Scholarly research using databases and print resources
- Web site evaluation
- Plagiarism
- Writing citations
- and much more
