During the summer months we’ve made some changes to the library to make it an even better place for study, collaboration, and relaxation. Here’s what’s new:
- More electrical outlets have been installed throughout the building at a convenient table height to help save those laptop batteries
- Eco-friendly, all weather teak chairs and umbrella tables along both sides of the entrance concourse provide an additional space for Starbucks customers and others to congregate
- The library’s butcher block study tables and carrels have been refinished and modified for a richer, more contemporary look
- Take a comfortable seat next to one of the “wired” round tables next to the windows and enjoy an incomparable view of the Pyramid from the 5th or 4th floor study area
- The improved environment even extends to new and distinctive trash containers and new end panels in the book stacks
