Housing and Residential Life offers overnight conference accommodations, food service and meeting space for any size conference.
The Summer Conference Program at California State University, Long Beach is proud of our campus and pleased to share information about our services as you prepare plans for your upcoming conference. “The Beach” conference program provides comfortable accommodations, meeting spaces and dining services from early May through mid-August.
All rooms are double occupancy and include two beds, two dressers, two desks and chairs. Bed linen, pillow, and blanket are provided.
Summer Conferences starts and ends during the University's Academic Summer Sessions, which typically starts late May and ending early August. Our busiest and most requested dates are in July, especially late July. Spaces are limited and gets filled up fast.

If you are an external group, it is important to be aware that insurance is required for approval. The University Risk Department must review and approve the insurance in order for your Summer Conference to take place.
The University has specific insurance requirements that must be met in order for the camp to be approved. These requirements include commercial general liability, workers' compensation insurance, automobile liability insurance, additional insured endorsement, abuse and molestation (if minors are involved), and more.
If you do not have existing insurance coverage that meets the university's requirements, you may consider purchasing a short-term policy specifically for the duration of your camp from The University Risk Department.
Our Residential Dining Halls provides a cafeteria style dining experience with a variety of food selections, including a fruit and salad bar as well as a pasta bar. We offer a variety of options to meet most dietary needs.
Located in southern California, CSULB is accessible by three airports: Long Beach, Orange County and Los Angeles. Other than California's coastal beaches, local attractions include the Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm.
We strive to make your experience a ‘one stop shop’. Remember to ask us about other campus meeting spaces, outdoor recreation areas (such as fields, swimming pools, basketball courts) and indoor recreation areas (such as dance facilities, gymnasiums, racquetball courts). We can assist you in securing classroom space, use of the University Student Union and its games area, theatres, computer labs, as well as other special requests that are unique to your conference needs.
