CSULB celebrates its rich, vibrant diversity through its nine annual Cultural Graduation Celebrations held during Commencement season. This year, 1,393 students participated in the cultural ceremonies, according to Student Affairs.
The celebrations – hosted through the collaboration of Student Affairs, Associated Students, Inc., student organizations and faculty and staff – support the university mission of fostering diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility by recognizing graduates who identify as members of non-dominant, minoritized, historically and currently marginalized communities.
Additional ceremonies include:
- Bob Murphy Access Center Celebration
- Educational Opportunity Program Celebration
- Guardian Scholars Graduation Celebration
- International Student Graduation Celebration
- Men's Success Initiative Celebration
