FYBC Mission Statement

Housed under the New Student & Family Programs (NSFP) umbrella, the First-Year Beach Connections program provides first semester students - both first-time/first-year and transfer student - access to events, programs and peer-led support that fosters your academic success and personal growth.   

FYBC Program Goals

• Help first-semester students create connections with other students
• Introduce students to campus resources that support academic success, health and wellness, and a sense of belonging
• Create event and programming that foster a sense of community
• Support students during their transition to college life
