Brian Elias

Brian has over 25 years experience in medicolegal death investigation and is currently serving as the Chief Investigator for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. He earned a BA from Cal State Long Beach and a master's in public administration from Cal State Northridge. Brian regularly presents at state and national conferences on a variety of subjects as well as providing consultation services. He is a Fellow of the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators and serves on that organizations board. He also is the current president of the California State Coroners' Assocation.
