Tori Saruwatari

My name is Tori Saruwatari, and I am the Assistant Director and Student Success Specialist for the College of Business Center for Student Success. As a first-generation college graduate, my higher education pathway started at Rio Hondo Community College before I transferred to UC San Diego to earn my B.A in Sociology. I eventually earned my Master's Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Southern California which has allowed me to work at various institutions as an Advisor, Professor, and Counselor. I’m passionate about providing support to students so they can meet their educational goals at CSULB. When I’m not at work, I enjoy staying active by playing pickleball, basketball and running.
