Ms. Cindy Skovgard

Dr. Michael Tehrani (Geriatrician)

  • Dr. Michael S. Tehrani is affiliated with St. Mary Medical Center - Long Beach and MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, both located in Long Beach, California.
  • He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine.

Dr. Maria Chandler

  • Dr. Maria Y. Chandler is a pediatrician at MemorialCare Miller Children's and Women's Hospital Long Beach and a graduate of the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Medical School and Pediatric Residency Program.
  • She serves as the Chief Medical Officer at TCC (The Children's Clinic), where she oversees medical activities and leads the expansion of the Behavioral Health Program.
  • Dr. Chandler also contributes as a Volunteer Clinic Faculty member at U.C. Irvine's Departments of Pediatrics and Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care, and she is the elected President of the Association of MD/MBA Programs.
  • She is a member of the Board of Trustees for Long Beach Memorial/Miller Children's Hospital and serves as the Chair of the Medical Economics Task Force and MD/MBA Program Advisor at UCI's School of Medicine and Merage School of Business.
     
 

Ms. Mercedez Perezchica

  • Mercedes Perezchica is a faculty member at Long Beach City College and has been affiliated with California State University, Long Beach, where she is involved in various educational and community service capacities.
  • Her work extends to SCAN Health Plan, where she has been associated with initiatives under the Independence at Home program, focusing on enhancing community health and well-being.
     
 

Elaine Acosta Gonzalez

  • Alberto Hurtado University in Chile - Founder of the Sociology program and served as its academic coordinator for ten years.

Dr. Tanya Dansky

  • Dr. Tanya Dansky is the Senior Medical Director for MemorialCare Medical Group at MemorialCare Medical Foundation.
  • Her extensive experience includes roles as a former pediatric hospitalist at Children’s Specialists of San Diego, Medical Director at Children’s Physicians Medical Group, and CEO of CPMG IPA.
  • She has also served as Chief Medical Officer at Columbia United Providers, Anthem Washington (Medicaid), and Blue Shield Promise.
  • Dr. Dansky completed a Clinical Leadership Fellowship with the California Health Care Foundation and is currently involved in opening and managing the new health center at MemorialCare Medical Group Long Beach (Naples).
