New International Student Orientation

New international first-year, transfer, and graduate students are required to attend International Orientation.

During orientation, you will learn how to:

  • Maintain valid immigration status while studying in the U.S.
  • Adapt to American culture and university expectations.
  • Access campus services and resources
  • Get involved on campus with student organizations such as the International Student Association.

Graduate International Student Orientation

New graduate international students are required to attend in person:

Welcome Event: CSULB Scavenger Hunt

Participate in a fun Scavenger Hunt to learn about CSULB student services and resources, meet and interact with other international students. Lunch will be provided. Participation highly encouraged.
