EOP Recognition Ceremony
About the Event
Your commitment to your education is admirable, your perseverance commendable, and your success well deserved. The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and Guardian Scholars Program would like to celebrate your achievements. You are cordially invited to the Annual EOP Recognition Ceremony, an event dedicated to honoring the accomplishments of graduating seniors. We are excited to announce that we will be hosting this event in person. This event will allow you to celebrate your success with family, friends, CSULB faculty, and staff. We look forward to seeing all of our EOP & Guardian Scholars graduates there!
Who Should Attend?
EOP and Guardian Scholar students who:
- Completed an undergraduate degree in Fall 2023 and Winter 2023
- Expected to complete an undergraduate degree in Spring 2024 and Summer 2024

What to Expect
All graduating students must register for the EOP Recognition Ceremony to receive their certificate and medallion. The ceremony will be held at the University Student Union Ballroom on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 4:00 pm, followed by a reception. During this time, graduates and guests will have time to mingle and enjoy some light hor d’oeuvres. Additional information will be emailed to students and registration will open on March 1st.

Additional Information
- Students are allowed to bring up to two guests.
- Parking is not provided. Your guests may purchase a daily permit at the kiosk.
