Nora Goto
I have been a lecturer for California State University, Long Beach part-time since 2009. I have a varied health care experience background in clinical, management, education, managed care, consulting and population health environments. I have management experience in a labor partnership environment and have implemented applications solutions producing business efficiency, flexibility and cost savings for my clients.
Working with health data has been a focus since the late 1990s working with an insurance consulting firm who used HEDIS 1.0 for health plan reporting for its clients. Accomplishments include managing health and wellness programs (software and communication deployment) for commercial populations, Patient Centered Care culture implementation and management at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, project management and Case Management System and Reporting at OptumHealth, nursing, clinical education, research and management at UCI Medical Center.
Nora graduated from California State University, Fresno with a BSN. Later she obtained and MSN and MSHCA from CSULB. Nora is a certified PMP, and a Certified Health Care Quality Professional (CPHQ)
