Ihab Abumuhor
Ihab Abumuhor is the Director of Labratory Services at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and has worked in the health care industry for over twenty years. He is a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist by profession with a Specialty in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine.
Mr. Abumuhor received a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Medical Microbiology from California State University, Long Beach, a master’s degree in clinical science from California State University, Dominguez Hills and his MSHCA at California State University, Long Beach.
Mr. Abumuhor has multiple publications in TRANSFUSION, Journal of Structural Biology, ISBT Science Series and others.
He is a member of American Association of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), California Blood Bank Society (CBBS) and California Laboratory Management Association (CLMA).
