- Online Pre-SOAR Program
- All incoming students are required to complete the following courses:
Incoming First Time, First Year students interested in switching to Pre-Nursing: You will need to be Undeclared until you meet the requirements to switch to Pre-Nursing. Students interested in switching to Pre-Nursing will complete the Major Change Form on the University Center for Undergraduate Advising (UCUA) website.
Incoming transfer students interested in switching to Nursing or Social Work: Unfortunately, you cannot change your major. Both programs require supplemental applications that were due when you applied to the university. Admission to the programs is closed. You are not eligible to pursue the Nursing or Social Work Bachelor's program if you were not admitted to the university as a transfer directly into that program. We encourage you to explore graduate programs in these fields after you complete your Bachelor's degree at CSULB.
If you are changing your major into a program within CHHS, please complete our Degree Objective Change Form. If you are changing your major into a program outside of CHHS, please find the advising center for your intended major and follow their process to change your major.
