No, the GRE is no longer a requirement.

We typically accept students with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
On average, students that are admitted have a GPA of approximately 3.4.
Strong recommendations, narrative/personal statement, and at least one year of public health work experience.
GPA is only one out of the 5 elements used to evaluate our students. If GPA is just below 3.0 but the rest of the application is strong, having a GPA less than 3.0 may be overlooked as we also evaluate GRE's, resume (work experience), letters of recommendations and personal statement.
No, Conditional admissions are determined by the graduate committee on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, we have been accredited by Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) since 1983.
A basic statistics course (HSC 403 or equivalent) and a Community Health course (HSC 401 or equivalent).
Yes, sometimes students can take them within the first year of the program as a Conditional Admission.

You are required to complete 3 units of HSC 585 or 200 hours. You may also waive an elective and complete an additional 3 units of internship.
We do not offer MPH Information Sessions at this time.
Yes, we offer appointments on Tuesday from 2-4 during the fall and spring semesters. We do NOT offer advising during the summer or winter sessions.
