After School Adapted Physical-Activity Programs (ASAPP)
The program is offered to individuals ages 3 through 21 with or without disabilities and gross motor delays.

The Kinesiology Department (KIN) at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) under the direction of Melissa Bittner, Professor, and Adapted Physical Education Credential Coordinator, offers a year-round (fall, spring, ASAPP, and summer sessions Camp Nugget ) program of physical activity for young children with or without disabilities.

After School Adapted Physical-activity Programs (ASAPP)
Activities emphasized through individualized and group instruction are gross motor fundamental skills, cooperative lead-up games, sports, relaxation activities, and social interaction. Two, 10-week sessions are offered during the CSULB school year (Fall and Spring) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for 1 hour. The cost is $200 for each 10-week program which includes 20 sessions and parking. Full and partial scholarships are available.
