Dr. John Wang’s specialized areas include forensic studies, high-tech investigation, Asian gangs, transnational organized crimes and comparative criminal justice systems. He completed Advanced Forensic Science Certificate at CSU, Fullerton in 2002 and 20 forensic topic certificates from Foster + Freeman Inc., U.K. during 2021-22. Due to his multi-disciplinary educational and training background, he teaches academic courses at CSULB and also provides his expertise to state and international law enforcement training programs. With his fellowship status from the American Academy of Forensic Science, he has presented interdisciplinary research projects at national and international conferences and published them in peer review journals as a sole author. Dr. Wang is an active member for international education programs and responsible for three agreements of international education.
