Henry O'Lawrence
Henry O'Lawrence, PhD, MDP, CRCMP, is a Professor of Health Care Administration and Undergraduate Program Director; serving as Accreditation Coordinator for the HCA department. He studies economics, workforce development and corporate training, public policy and educational leadership, prevention strategies for non-communicable diseases and translational science and global health at Penn State, Harvard and Oxford University, England. He is an author of several books, a data analyst and has extensively published his research in peer reviewed journals. He is a member of the team that participated in a recent ongoing $10 million grant, entitled “California Consortium Public Health Informatics and Technology (CCPHIT)” that is funded by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). This grant is to build a consortium that will help strengthen U.S. public health informatics and information technology efforts and increase the representation of underrepresented communities within the public health IT workforce. O’Lawrence assisted in many areas including curricula development, recruitments and ongoing campus wide global workforce and development strategic plan to grow the campus population.
