History
In 2013, the President and Provost’s Leadership Fellows Program launched with a bold mission: to develop the next generation of university leaders, address critical issues in higher education, and advance CSULB's strategic goals.
The Leadership Fellows Program garnered acclaim for its transformative impact on participants and the broader university community. Before its pause in 2020, the program thrived, welcoming 78 Fellows across five cohorts. Alumni of the program emerged as trailblazers, occupying key leadership positions within CSULB and beyond, their vision and expertise shaping the future of education.
In the fall of 2024, the program will welcome its eagerly anticipated sixth cohort. This new iteration marks a pivotal shift in focus, aligning with the evolving ethos of equity and inclusion.
